D&AD has left the building.........

Sadly it's all over again for another year. We were in at 8am and out by 8.50am.....all packed, in the van and ready to make the journey North. I think its a good time to go as London is beginning to 'warm up',,,...and Spitalfields is not known for its air-con!!!!!.........so until next year, we wave goodbye to London and look forward to our Degree Ceremony next Friday!!!!!

Thursday 4th July--last day of D&AD

...and still they keep coming!!...a good range of visitors again and another successful D&AD for Staffordshire!!.......just up the road is New Designers (Islington Design Centre), where our fellow exhibitionists, product & transport, are doing their bit for the cause. Some nice graphics + illustration work was also on display.......also we got a mention on the creative review blog, for Helen Player's ceramic ampersand........

Wed 3rd July---part 1.1.....

Very busy agin this evening at D&AD. Meanwhile...a trip over to New Designers for their private view  was on the schedule. More images and news on this on Thursday-----the open night was extremely busy as you would imagine------excellent product design, spatial design, graphic design, illustration....a more thorough inspection occurs tomorrow!!!


Amazing who you meet isn't it?????  Sue Pollard is obviously a keen supporter of Staffordshire University!!!!

Wed 3rd July-----open to the public.......

Now open to the public, D&AD is very busy today, including schools and colleges.

Industry will be coming along later for what promises to be another eventful evening for the staffs students. second year graphic design & illustration students journeyed down today to check out the competition and be inspired - a couple even taking on the 1 minute brief challenge, with a work placement at stake!!!  New Designers opens this evening across town at Islington, Product & Transport are in attendance.....and so are a couple of staffs lecturers - just adding some support!.
